Take Along A Spring - C1312

These two monkeys were found by Yang Fann in the mountains. Originally, Yang Fann was planning to leave them in the mountains after catching the Gold Coins Leopard on the way back, but he forgot about them due to being in a rush to return to Jade Spring Mountain Villa.    

Once he returned, Yang Fann went to sleep again and received Bai Mei, so he didn’t have time to spare to enter the mountain. In just a few days time, one or two months had passed within the Space of Jade Pendant.    

Space of Jade Pendant already had the effect of speeding up the growth of plants and animals, and adding to that, it was increased by ten times over in an inconceivable amount of time, making the little monkey in the space grow much better in just a few days in the outside world.    

Raising monkeys was a technical task. If they couldn’t raise them properly, they could tear down their homes, but the two monkeys that grew up in Space of Jade Pendant, maybe because they had eaten spatial food, were especially smart, so smart that they didn’t seem like monkeys. At just a little bit, their IQ was already comparable to a four or five-year-old child.    

Of course, understanding was not about proficiency, but about the ability to understand commands. It was about how much knowledge a human could learn when they were four or five years old.    

Such a smart little monkey, yet it didn’t show any signs of destroying the family, Yang Fann really couldn’t bear to throw them into the mountains.    

The key was that they were still too young. If they were thrown into the dangerous mountains now, the chances of survival were not high at all.    

Yang Fann is a vegetarian. It’s impossible for him to have a live meal of monkey brain… Cough cough, some of them have gone off topic. It should be said that Yang Fann was a kind person. He threw the two little monkeys, who were not yet capable of taking care of themselves, into the mountains, as if they were being unreasonable.    

Thus, Yang Fann was so conflicted that he didn’t want them anymore. He handed the two little monkeys over to Black Bear and Xue’er for them to support. He believed that with Black Bear’s intelligence, he wouldn’t turn the two little monkeys into naughty kids.    

If he could bring out two obedient monkeys, it might be able to help Jade Spring Mountain Villa with a lot of work. For example, picking fruits, monkeys were much more nimble than humans.    

However, if there were two monkeys that were born with that, it would cause great damage to their Jade Spring Mountain Villa, especially to the vegetables and fruits that were grown with the Jade Spring Mountain Villa. A single monkey’s destructive power would definitely not lose to a wild boar.    

No matter what, Yang Fann decided to give the two monkeys a chance. It’s good to raise them, but it’s not too late to deal with them.    

As for how to deal with them, it was very simple. It was fine to just send them to the zoo.    

After thinking over the matter of the monkey’s departure, Yang Fann scratched his head again. Because he had been hiding from Bai Mei for the whole day, he couldn’t hold back at all and kissed Bai Mei at the candlelight dinner, scaring Yang Fann so much that he didn’t even dare to meet Bai Mei for the whole day.    

Bai Mei came to visit Jade Spring Mountain Villa, so Yang Fann couldn’t just hide and not see her. Seeing that it was already late, Bai Mei’s dinner was probably not ready yet. If Yang Fann didn’t appear now, Yang Fann might really starve.    

To let such a beautiful woman starve was not his style at all. He could only gnaw on her teeth, but with a determined heart, she deserved to be killed. She had lived for tens of thousands of years, what was there to be afraid of?    

Thus, after disappearing for a day, Yang Fann appeared in front of Bai Mei with his head hanging low. Together with Yang Fann, he appeared as a steaming bowl of fragrant rice with a bowl of seaweed soup.    

Yang Fann cooked the rice by hand. It was very easy to fry some mutton, put in the carrot and onion, and when it was done, put the rice in, add some water and cook it by charcoal.    

Sheep meat was a wild goat caught by Yang Fann a few days ago when he entered the mountain. After being fed with spatial food in Space of Jade Pendant for a period of time, the fishy smell of grass and the taste of goat had been removed, and the meat was fresh and delicious, better than all of the mutton that Yang Fann had eaten before.    

The other ingredients were basically grown from Space of Jade Pendant. The rice, carrots, onions, and the fragrance of each one, plus Yang Fann finally sprinkled some dimensional raisins on the rice caught, along with that bowl of pork ribs and seaweed soup, it was simply enough to make one want to die from gluttony!    

Bai Mei really didn’t eat much that day and just nibbled on a few of the snacks she brought along. It wasn’t that she was lazy or didn’t cook, it was just that Yang Fann wasn’t around and she couldn’t casually touch his kitchen.    

Bai Mei was too embarrassed to go to the Poplar Gully stores. In the past, she always hung around the Poplar Gully with Yang Fann, but now that she had gone out alone, she felt a little dissatisfied.    

Now that Yang Fann brought a fragrant dinner in front of them, Bai Mei wanted to take the opportunity to complain about Yang Fann a little bit and ask him where he had been all day, leaving a beauty like her by herself. But once she smelled the fragrance of the food, she immediately threw all her unhappiness to the back of her mind.

According to Yang Fann’s intentions, he never planned to let Nana and Xia Ji into the house. He didn’t prepare two priceless meals, spatial food wasn’t something that could be eaten that easily, no matter how generous Yang Fann was, he wasn’t extravagant enough to treat two guys with spatial food to monitor him.    

However, Bai Mei couldn’t do it. This little girl was too kind and followed the rules of being nice to others. She knocked on the door without any malicious intent and pretended that it wasn’t her style to not hear anything.    

The bowl of seaweed soup was not spared, and was drunk a lot by Witch and Nana. The three of them were only half-full, and they looked at Yang Fann with eyes full of resentment.    

Yang Fann had one advantage. He was quite thick-skinned and ignored the gazes of the three people.    

Yang Fann didn’t have the time to cook again. He only cooked an extra bowl for Bai Mei because he also had to eat. Now that he was full, he didn’t even have the time to cook!
