Six months ago, the world tilted on its axis. Tens of thousands of black phantom towers materialized across the globe, hovering menacingly above major cities. The suddenness of their arrival plunged humanity into chaos. Chemists found their lab results defying known laws of physics. Religious leaders questioned the divine plan. Governments scrambled, offering no answers, only escalating anxieties.

But with the relentless tide of time, a chilling normalcy settled in. People adjusted their routines, learning to navigate life under the perpetual shadow of the enigmatic towers. The initial terror dwindled into a begrudging acceptance. Traffic jams returned, conversations flowed about mundane things, and children chased pigeons in the park, all under the watchful gaze of the black titans.

One day, a seemingly innocuous event shattered the fragile sense of normalcy. Tang Mo, a young man with an inquisitive mind, witnessed an anomaly. A common fly, in its carefree flight path, inexplicably collided with the tower’s opaque surface, its tiny body dissolving on impact. It didn’t pass through, as they all assumed these constructs did.

The next morning, the world awoke to a different reality. A clear, childlike voice, impossibly crisp and emanating from every tower, pierced the silence. “Ding dong! November 15th, 2017. The Earth is online.”

Those four words hung heavy in the air, a chilling announcement that ripped through the veil of normalcy. The black towers, once silent observers, became active participants in a game humanity wasn’t prepared for. An ominous set of rules followed, broadcasted in all languages:
