Xie Ming’s world crumbled when her sister and fiancé betrayed her. Believing there was nothing left to live for, she contemplated ending her life. But fate had other plans. As she stood at the precipice of a cliff, ready to take the plunge, a pair of strong hands seized her waist.

“Do you think ending your life will solve anything?” a deep voice inquired. Xie Ming, startled and confused, frowned at the unfamiliar voice.

“Instead of despairing, why not make your life meaningful?” he suggested. Xie Ming’s frown deepened. “What do you mean?”
